Philosophy Wire: Sleep. Balance. Existence.

Preliminary results from the world's largest sleep study have shown that people who sleep on average between 7 to 8 hours per night performed better cognitively than those who slept less, or more, than this amount. [1] Keep the balance. In everything. From sleeping to exercising. From eating to drinking. From thinking to non-thinking. Everything must be kept in a balance. So that they do not collapse into nothingness. Being cannot stop Being. What Is, is already balanced. Between life and death. Between existence and non-existence. In the vast space, a star explodes. So peaceful. Silent. At the end of the cosmos, an old man listens to the violence. With closed eyes. Nervous. He sees everything. Standing inside the river. Where there is no river at all…
