Philosophy Wire: Will. Worms. Crocodiles.

Despite their very different ancestors, dolphins and crocodiles evolved similarly shaped skulls to feed on similar prey, new research indicates. Having a long, thin snout has great advantages when trying to catch small fish. [1] Our goals drive everything. Our will determines the cosmos. The worm wants to be a worm. Or else it would be a whale. Really. Go ask it.
