Philosophy Wire: Popular scientists: You, me, everyone…

Philosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2015-11-10]: Popular expressions for the correlation of colours and emotional conditions are proved scientifically sound. Those with depression indeed see the world with less colour. [1] What distinguishes the scientists from non-scientists, if not the deduction of conclusions based on observational data?

Amateurs and hobbyists seem to be equally capable with professional astronomers in detecting black holes. [2] What distinguishes professionals from amateurs if not passion for what they do?

Elitism of modern science must die.
No regime can last for long.
We are all scientists.
Without knowing it.

Only without science will we have true science.
Science about everything important.
