Philosophy Wire: Hikikomori.


Philosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2013-11-03]:  Japanese youngsters staying in home for years. They are "withdrawn" or hikikomori. [1] We believe they are a weird exception. But look around you. Do you really think they are the only ones closed to themselves? The world is a hard place to live in. And nothing in our education system does it prepare your people for it.
