Philosophy Wire: City, lost innocence, blackbirds...



Philosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2013-06-15]: According to a new study comparing urban birds to their country cousins, birds from the city "started their activity earlier and had faster but less robust circadian oscillation of locomotor activity than forest conspecifics". [1]

Innocence is gone.

And only a cold thing like science can remind us of that.
