Philosophy Wire: Greek animale, malakia and hypocrisy…

the-big-slleepPhilosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2012-06-07]: Greeks tolerate and re-elect (multiple times) people stealing their money. Greeks vote for political parties who are officially outside the law and claim that the official laws of the state should not be in force (and actually try to accomplish that with force). Greeks believe people who tell them that they can make an omelet without breaking eggs (or that they can reduce the public sector without laying off no one). Greeks tolerate Baroso on claiming that he will abandon a Greek political party. But they collectively (ok, not “collectively”) attack a person who slapped another person on TV [1]… That is setting priorities… That is hypocrisy…
