Philosophy Wire: Cars without drivers, life without humans

The first to hit the highway will be a Toyota Prius modified by search firm Google, which is leading the way in driverless car technology [source: BBC News]. It will not be long until we have robots living life instead of humans. What would you think of an automaton which will eat, drink and dance instead of you?
